When compared to traditional saunas, infrared saunas allow you to eliminate about seven to ten times more toxins. It’s a 30-minute session that can heat up to 150 degrees. CHROMOTHERAPY

Chromotherapy is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms.

Our bodies need the sun’s light to live and that light can actually be broken down into a seven color spectrum. Color therapy works on various energy points to help balance your body via the full spectrum of visible light, each color addressing a distinct need. IS THE SAUNA PRIVATE?


Yes, sauna sessions are booked privately. If you'd like, you may bring up to two (2) guests to join you in the sauna for just $5 additional per person.




WHAT DO I WEAR IN THE SAUNA?


Make yourself comfortable! A bathing suit or birthday suit is appropriate. We'll provide you with a robe and towels for your convenience.




CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO DO THE SAUNA WITH ME?


Definitely! Our saunas can accommodate up to three people, so you may bring up to two additional guests to enjoy your sauna session with you for just $5 per guest.




WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEAR INFRARED AND FAR INFRARED?


Near-infrared (NIR) is the shortest infrared wavelength and promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing, and tissue growth. Mid-infrared (MIR) is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue where inflammation occurs and speeds up the healing process. The longest wavelength, far-infrared (FIR), reaches deepest into the body, where toxins are stored. This is the primary wavelength emitted by our saunas at Slick Rock.




HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE THE INFRARED SAUNA?


It is safe to use the infrared sauna every day, however, many of our members partake in a 30-minute session 3-4 times per week, as their schedules allow. We recommend using the infrared sauna at least 2-3 times weekly to enjoy its detoxifying benefits. You may wish to start your detox regimen with just one or two sessions per week and for only 10 to 15 minutes maximum. As you increase your comfort level in the infrared sauna, you may increase the time and frequency of use.
