Managers-in-Training serve as some of the most important people on our team, helping to manage all aspects of the salon location. In this role, you'll focus heavily on providing outstanding service to customers; sales; operating a clean, well-maintained and efficient salon; along with supporting salon management needs. The MIT maintains accountability for the cleanliness and smooth operations of the assigned location and is responsible for the timely delivery of administrative and operational tasks which support the sales team. You will work closely with the Salon Manager to execute sales promotions, maximize client satisfaction and train and coach Tanning Consultants.
Tanning Consultants play a vital role on our team by directly assisting our clients and ensuring they have a great experience when visiting our salons. Tanning Consultants focus on educating clients on the tanning process, the benefits of premium skin care products, and the benefits of using our tanning & spa services to promote a confident, fun & healthy lifestyle. You are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the salon through a series of daily tasks and cleaning duties, including cleaning tanning beds and spa equipment, maintaining laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and scrubbing the salon.
Runners are an essential part of our team. Runners maintain the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the salon by performing a series of cleaning tasks and routinely turning over service rooms in preparation for incoming guests. By ensuring the Slick Rock Cleanliness Standard is being upheld, our clients are guaranteed to enjoy a positive and sanitary experience every time they visit.
Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representatives are often the directors of first impressions at Slick Rock and play an important role in supporting our clients and salons by taking incoming calls from customers and locations dealing with a myriad of questions, issues and complaints. You will also make outbound calls to customers to follow up on promotions, check on payments not received and other calling campaigns. A day in the life includes scheduling client appointments, educating prospective customers about our products and services, researching and communicating account information and company policies, and responding to written and verbal inquiries.
Technicians play a critical role in our clients’ experience by maintaining the equipment and facilities of 5+ Slick Rock locations within the Spokane /CDA area while working in a fast-paced retail environment. Visiting multiple locations, re-lamping beds, deep cleaning, trouble-shooting and repairing minor electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC issues, painting and more - it takes a lot to keep our salons and equipment running beautifully - and it's all in a day's work for a Slick Rock Service Tech.
Marketing/ Design Associate
Marketing/ Design Associates support the company and team by creating dynamic, value-driven marketing campaigns that increase awareness of Slick Rock and promote the public’s confidence in our brand, educating current and potential clients about the total body and wellness experience we offer, and creating targeted campaigns based on client preferences and purchase history. You will create original content for social media platforms, design in-room promos, digital and video content, email campaigns and more. This position also entails grassroots marketing efforts such as B2B outreach, organizing and hosting community service and company events.
